You may bring whatever size suitcase or travel bag that you like on the Sahara Desert Adventure Trip. There are no luggage restrictions.
You do not need to bring towels or sheets, those will be provided. In the desert you will have beds so you don´t need a sleeping bag, unless you want to bring one. We recommend comfortable clothing for walking tours and bus time. You might want to bring a pillow or neck-pillow to be comfortable on the bus.
You DO need to also bring one small overnight bag just for the night in the desert tents. We will be arriving to the campsite on camel and therefore you will not be able to bring your full suitcase (those will stay on the bus). We suggest warm clothing because at night it can be cold in thedesert. Feel free to bring whatever food and drink you want.
Girls, There are no restrictions on what type of clothing to wear in Morocco. It is completely accepted to wear more “Westernized” clothing such as shorts, sleevelesses, etc. You do not need to dress extra conservatively.
Erfoud: Hotel Xaluca Luxurious Oasis Hotel and Spa, Hotel Belere 4 or El Ati Hotel Erfoud**** (depending on date)
Merzouga desert: We Love Spain Berber Campsite in Moroccan Jaimas in middle of the dunes

Individual rooms have an additional cost of 65€. If you are traveling alone and prefer not to pay the supplement for an individual room, we will try to put you with other travelers, but it is not guaranteed.
In the desert you will be in Berber tents of 5/6 people. If you are a group of friends who would like to share a tent just let the coordinator know when you get there.
Any services not listed are not included in the trip such as extra hotel services like hotel phone, minibar, etc. which will have an additional cost to the traveler if they so decide to use them.
On the Sahara Desert Adventure Trip, all breakfasts and dinners are included.
The drinks are not included, so you will only need money for lunches, drinks and shopping.
We recommend bringing food with you on the first day, because our first included meal is not until dinner. Although, you will be able to buy food during your time in the ferry. Then later, we will make a stop for lunch so you can eat what you bring or buy some food there.
Vegetarian. Allergies and special conditions
Alternative meals are available in the hotels and restaurants. You must let your guide or the restaurant manager know at the beginning of the meal.
The official currency in Morocco is the Dirham (Dh) and the difference is 1€=10Dh.

You do not need to exchange money before the trip. You will be able to exchange in Morocco at the hotel receptions. However, you can pay in Euro everywhere and in Dollars in some places.
Lunches and drinks are not included, so a good budget would be to bring between 100€/200€ to pay for drinks, shopping, etc.

Morocco is a country very open to tourists and very safe, however, for us your safety is the most important. For that reason our staff is highly trained and qualified in the department of safety. During walking tours, not only will you be accompanied by your guide and coordinator, but also the Tourism Police Department to make sure that no one is lost in the laberinth of streets and that everything goes perfectly. In the case of emergency we have evacuation plans, full medical insurance, and contact with the Spanish embassy at all times. Traveling with professionals is traveling safely.

In Fez, the weather is similar to Southern Spain. Once you pass the mountains the weather is typically very dry and hot however at night in the desert it can get very cold so do bring warm clothes for that night.
You will have some free time in Rissani, the Desert and Asilah.
The Sahara desert is hundreds of kilometers to the south of the straight of Gibraltar, so to arrive there, do expect quite a lot of bus time. We assure you that your time in the desert does compensate the wait though :).
In Morocco it is considered rude to take pictures of people without asking. Most people do not mind but please ask first before photographing someone directly.
It is obligatory to arrive to the meeting points at the times indicated by the coordinator. Be punctual! We are not responsible for any illnesses, damages caused in the hotel, bus or other places nor to one´s self or third parties. We are not responsible for forgotten or lost items in any moment. In these cases, you are responsible for finding the way to recover your items and for any additional costs that it may cause.
Traveling implies keeping an open mind to new cultures, new forms of life and distinct traditions. There is more to the world than what happens in your front yard. Our advice to you is if you want to enjoy 100% of this unique experience of getting to know this wonderful country rich in culture, music, art, and gastronomy, than be open to discovering other forms of life and seeing life, like it or not, but never indifferent, that is for sure. Be respectful with other cultures and proud of yours. Life is beautiful, travel more! Viva Morocco! Adventure Sahara Desert Excursion
