Blue Cities Erasmus Morocco Weekend Trip
The Morocco Experience Two Day Trip itinerary is subject to change due to logistics, waiting time, weather conditions, etc. All of the tour will be by private bus and boat (except for the walking tours).
First, we have a morning departure towards Algeciras. Upon arrival, we will board the ferry to Ceuta (Africa). Next, we will cross through border control into Morocco and head directly to Chefchaouen. Located in the Rif Montains, Chaouen is one of the most beautiful towns in Morocco. Blue houses, narrow streets, shops and astonishing views. We will begin with a delicious lunch buffet in Parador restaurant.
After lunch we will enjoy a guided tour of the historic center with stops to take pictures and learn about the beautiful blue streets. We will also visit a Moroccan fabric workshop, where they will explain the work of the weaver men and women who make the typical Moroccan rugs and blankets. After the tour, you will have some free time to wander, enjoy and shop in its quaint little stores, or enjoy a traditional Moroccan mint tea in one of the multiple bars in the city.
In the evening, we will continue towards Tetuan, one of the most important cities in North Morocco for dinner and rest at the hotel.
First we will have breakfast at the hotel and then we will explore the city of Tetuan. We will enjoy a guided tour in the old part of the city, kasbah and medina and a visit to a Moroccan pharmacy where you also will have the chance to get natural products such as argane oil, species, creams, etc.
Lastly, with a packed lunch in tow, we will depart towards Ceuta where we will take the ferry to Algeciras. Then, we will take the buses back to our origin cities.
Evening arrival home.

Check the link below to see if your nationality requires a visa. If so, you can get one online in a few days using the same website.orocco Experience Two Day Trip

It is always a good idea to bring warmer clothes for day or night. Comfortable clothing and comfortable shoes are important for the walking tours.
The hotels provide towels and soap but not a hair dryer, shampoo nor conditioner, so bring those if you need them.
Girls, There are no restrictions on what type of clothing to wear in Morocco. It is completely accepted to wear more “Westernized” clothing such as shorts, sleevelesses, etc. You do not need to dress extra conservatively.

A good budget would be to bring between 50€/100€ to pay for drinks, shopping, etc.

In the case of emergency we have evacuation plans, full medical insurance, and contact with the Spanish embassy at all times. Traveling with professionals is traveling safely.
